Hi guys,

Im planing to do an 8 man paragon only HA team, i already got some builds about it, but i would like to know peoples opinion about builds for an paragon only team.

Cmom and give ur opinion

Go 2 defensive anthems, 2 Song of Restoration, 1 Song of Purification and make the other 3 some other paragon support elite. imo

I was thinking about 5 Incoming paragons for general defense, and for spike 5 Unblockable Trown , or 5 mighty trown coupled with rigor mortis to avoid blocking

dont underestimate a few copies of angelic protection. that skill is useful as hell in the right scenario.

everyone should have aggressive refrain and you should think about a cautery paragon for pulling condis.

as far as spiking is concerned: gfte + vicious and a lot of lightning spears. someone needs enchant rips, best make a p/n with rend.

also try maybe 7 paras and a ranger. spirits are always handy.

Put in some migraine mesmers to shut down defence on enemy team. Also a fire ele for some OP aoe...

Yeh but these can't be in an 8 Para team. (which is what he asked for)

Well, you could go P/Me with Migraine and Mantra of Persistence. That way you could also use aggressive refrain since it's an echo and won't be cancelled by the mantra.

You'd get something like this

I think it'll be better to have 2 firegon's because otherwise you wouldn't be able to distribute the vital skills.

would suggest fitting [mark of pain] onto a bar. Does work when teams ball up (i.e king of the hill)

u need the burning for ToF to work tho

and i think a Backbreaker Paragon would go well here?

Your probably better off with [Mark of [email protected]] that way you can keep burning up a lot longer for ToF. Of course there is an obvious counter with so many ranger teams [[email protected]]

you gotta remember key things. First, how does the build work. Although para spike is considered a spike.. face it its basically pressure. Paragons do lots of dmg, and can easily run monks out of energy (2 of them can do a great job alone in like a lego, so combine 8 and its like imba). But u need to remember a couple things, first u gotta remember them having agressive and cracked armor, having SoP or Martyr or caut sig or some kind of global condition removal (i wouldnt suggest extinguish too much energy) could be useful.. but then again all of it gets applied again, but it doesnt hurt. Having Expel/BiP are key things in many spikes builds that can be useful.. convert could hurt a lot of energy on a paragon and therefore expel is kinda great. throwing things such as angelic bond and SoA combo or a few angelic protections can do a lot too.. remember things such as anthem of envy. U need an anthem of ur choice in there to keep up ur agressives, there are lots of things u can do with paragons because paragons can be effective and use any elite. I've ran balanced builds with Expel Para's BiPagons Cautery Signet. Point is have fun, remember u need pressure, defense, heals, ways to remove global conditions for cracked armor, u need utility skills, u need cracked armor of some sort/deepwounds (id say run sundering chest thumper combo) for hard targets. that's really it, i mean its 8 man paraspike... have fun, go wild.

True i never thought about that but meh the Firegons look like more of a viable choice compared to the P/Me.
